Job summary

Adient plc seeks a CI Coordinator with Black Belt at our West Point facility in Kentucky to lead Six Sigma projects that improve cost, quality and delivery. You will guide cross-functional teams, report progress to leadership, and drive process improvements across production areas.

Required 2–5 years in industrial engineering, a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, and automotive manufacturing experience. The role includes team training, data analysis, safety audits, and delivering measurable

2–5 years of experience in industrial engineering.
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
Experience in automotive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Identifies key individuals for team membership and secures their availability with champion support.
Provides basic Six Sigma training to project team members.
Applies Six Sigma tools to measure, analyze, improve and control project processes.
Reports on project progress to champion and leadership on a weekly/monthly basis.
Prepares detailed plans to track project performance and achieve quality and savings goals.
Identifies barriers and brings forward new project opportunities.
Participates in safety investigations and 8D process for root cause analysis as required.
Ensures required safety audits are completed for the team.
Documents improvements and shares best practices with other Black Belts.
