Job summary

Lightship in Colorado is seeking a Senior Recruiting Manager to own full-cycle recruiting across all functions. You will partner with hiring managers, shape our sourcing, and elevate the candidate experience in a high-growth EV manufacturing startup.

You will report to the VP of People and help forecast headcount, refine interview processes, and oversee vendors while aligning with our culture and equity offering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-cycle and technical recruiting experience.
• Proven track record hiring across multiple functions (hourly, engineering, sales, G&A, etc).
• Ability to operate independently and drive searches with limited oversight.
• Experience building and scaling recruiting processes.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruiting for all company roles, from intake through offer and close.
• Partner with and advise hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and build effective interview processes.
• Develop and evolve our sourcing strategy across channels, functions, and candidate segments.
• Own and continuously evolve the candidate experience across the interview lifecycle.
• Partner with VP of People and leadership on headcount forecasting and hiring strategy tied to business/growth objectives.
• Oversee reference and background check processes and vendor relationships.
• Own ATS (Lever) and other systems/vendors related to recruiting (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc).
• Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and employer branding.
• Drive Lightship’s participation in community job fairs and other recruiting events.
• Define, track, and report on pipeline metrics and hiring funnel health.
• Manage temporary contractors and external recruiting agencies as needed.
• Act as a champion for company culture and values throughout the hiring process and internally.
