Job summary

Lightship in Colorado is seeking a Senior Recruiting Manager to own full-cycle recruiting across all functions. You will partner with hiring managers to define roles, refine interview processes, and scale our team in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

You will manage the candidate experience, oversee ATS (Lever) and vendor relationships, and help shape our employer brand while reporting to the VP of People. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-cycle and technical recruiting experience.
• Proven track record hiring across multiple functions (hourly, engineering, sales, G&A, etc).
• Ability to operate independently and drive searches with limited oversight.
• Experience building and scaling recruiting processes.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of open roles simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruiting for all company roles, from intake through offer and close.
• Partner with and advise hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and build effective interview processes.
• Develop and evolve our sourcing strategy across channels, functions, and candidate segments.
• Own and continuously evolve the candidate experience across the interview lifecycle.
• Partner with VP of People and leadership on headcount forecasting and hiring strategy tied to business/growth objectives.
• Oversee reference and background check processes and vendor relationships.
• Own ATS (Lever) and other systems/vendors related to recruiting (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc).
• Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and employer branding.
• Drive Lightship’s participation in community job fairs and other recruiting events.
• Define, track, and report on pipeline metrics and hiring funnel health.
• Manage temporary contractors and external recruiting agencies as needed.
• Act as a champion for company culture and values throughout the hiring process and internally.
