Job summary

N/A is seeking a Senior Recruiter to build and own its finance-expert sourcing engine. As the first dedicated recruiter, you will develop sourcing strategies, campaigns, and processes to identify, engage, qualify, and activate high-caliber finance professionals.

You will lead outbound sourcing, leverage networks and campus programs, and design compelling messages to attract top talent. This onsite role is based in San Francisco, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, growth, or related field.
• Experience as a founding recruiter, first talent hire, or early member of a startup recruiting team.
• Recruiting experience within fintech, financial services, banking, investment management, AI, or a finance-adjacent startup.
• Direct experience sourcing professionals from investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, or closely related financial-services sectors.
• Experience developing recruiting campaigns targeting MBA programs, alumni networks, or campus populations.
• Experience managing multiple sourcing channels and running campaigns at scale.
• Demonstrated ability to build sourcing processes, tools, and recruiting programs with limited direction.
• Experience independently identifying and using campaign-sending and LinkedIn automation platforms.
• Strong data fluency, including experience tracking funnel metrics, conversion rates, and sourcing performance.
• Ability to analyze recruiting data and make decisions based on measurable results.
• Strong outbound sourcing, candidate-engagement, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Resourceful, self‑directed, and comfortable working within a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete expert-recruiting pipeline, including outbound sourcing, inbound campaigns, referrals, qualification, conversion, and activation.
• Source finance professionals from investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, asset management, and related sectors.
• Develop proactive sourcing plans based on anticipated customer projects, financial domains, and required seniority levels.
• Build and manage scalable, multichannel recruiting campaigns.
• Use LinkedIn, alumni networks, MBA programs, campus recruiting, referrals, email campaigns, and direct outreach to attract qualified experts.
• Design and test recruiting messages, job descriptions, campaign content, and conversion strategies.
• Conduct A/B testing to determine which channels, messaging, and campaigns produce the strongest results.
• Independently evaluate, select, and use LinkedIn automation and campaign-sending platforms.
• Build sourcing workflows, automation, reporting systems, and repeatable recruiting processes.
• Track pipeline volume, response rates, qualification rates, activation rates, conversions, retention, and other recruiting metrics.
• Analyze funnel performance and make data-driven improvements to sourcing campaigns.
• Partner with strategic project leaders to translate upcoming customer needs into targeted recruiting plans.
• Develop referral programs and long-term talent communities within specialized financial sectors.
• Maintain a high-quality candidate and expert experience throughout the recruiting process.

The organization develops advanced AI solutions for the financial-services industry and works with leading AI research partners. Its expert network includes professionals from investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, asset management, and related financial sectors.
