LYA Collective in San Francisco is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own end-to-end recruiting for engineering and technical roles, working with the founders to build the recruiting function from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will source and engage top technical talent across AI labs, quant firms, big tech, and leading universities, thriving in a fast-paced startup environment. This is a full-time on-site role in San Francisco, CA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in technical recruiting for engineering roles.
• Experience sourcing and closing hard-to-fill technical talent.
• Ability to partner with founders on hiring strategy and process design.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for software, infrastructure, AI, and product engineering roles.

• Create a high-touch candidate experience reflecting the company culture.

This person will own end-to-end recruiting for engineering and technical roles, working closely with the founders to help build the recruiting function from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing and engaging top technical talent across AI labs, quant firms, big tech, and leading universities, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. This is a full-time on-site position in San Francisco, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

• Own full-cycle recruiting for software engineering, infrastructure, applied AI, and product engineering roles.
• Build high-quality outbound sourcing pipelines targeting top technical talent from AI labs, quant firms, and high-growth startups.
• Partner directly with founders on hiring strategy, role calibration, interview design, and closing.
• Create a high-touch, fast-moving candidate experience that reflects the company's talent bar and culture.
• Build the foundation of the recruiting function — systems, workflows, templates, and talent market maps.

Job Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a technical recruiter.
• Experience hiring hard- to- close technical talent (founding, senior, or infrastructure engineers).
• Ability to source, engage, and close engineering candidates in competitive markets.
• BS degre.
