Job summary

Clearway is seeking an Operations Analyst to monitor and optimize control systems at our renewable energy facilities from the Scottsdale operations center. You will work with SCADA/Engineering and IT to ensure alarms and dispatch functions perform reliably and safely.

The role requires a 3+ year background in control centers, knowledge of energy markets (CAISO/PJM/ERCOT), and a readiness to obtain NERC certification within 12 months. Bachelor’s in engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Control Center Operations.
• NERC Certification preferred, required within 12 months of hire if not obtained.
• Proficiency in plant and electrical system designs and relevant software (SCADA).
• Knowledge of NERC, ERCOT, WECC, CAISO, PJM, SPP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Real-Time Monitoring of facility voltage and real power controls for BESS, PV, and Wind assets.
• Dispatch error tracking and correction of unit control data.
• Troubleshooting and rapid resolution of operational anomalies and control issues.
• Develop critical monitoring points for control system design and change management.
• Collaborate with SCADA/Controls Engineering and IT to resolve unit errors and improve alarm systems.
• Document detailed control procedures and update training materials.
