Snell & Wilmer in Phoenix seeks a full-time Real Estate Paralegal for our Phoenix Office. Qualified candidates have extensive experience in commercial title and survey review and will support complex real estate transactions.

Responsibilities include closing management, title/survey review, document drafting of CC&Rs and HOA docs, licensing and permits, tax filings, due diligence, searches, legal filings, and post-closing support.

Qualifications

Baccalaureate degree and paralegal certificate from ABA-accredited program or equivalent.
At least 7 years of paralegal experience in real estate, preferably in a large firm.
Strong attention to detail and ability to self-start; capable of independent work with guidance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Closing Management: Prepare checklists and oversee the full closing process for commercial real estate transactions.
Title & Survey Review: Analyze title reports and surveys; resolve title and survey issues with title companies.
Document Drafting: Draft CC&Rs, HOA documents, and subdivision-related materials.
Licensing & Permits: Handle applications for liquor, tax, and operating licenses.
Tax & Regulatory Filings: Prepare tax clearance, bulk transfer, exemption, and reporting documents.
Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence for acquisitions, sales, and financings in real estate.
Search & Analysis: Order, review, and summarize UCC, lien, tax, and judgment searches.
Legal Filings: Draft and file deeds, mortgages, leases, and UCC filings.
Post-Closing Support: Assemble and distribute closing binders; manage post-closing documentation.
