Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate required.
• 7+ years paralegal experience with emphasis on commercial real estate transactions.
• Experience reviewing title commitments and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Familiarity with title insurance products, endorsements, and closing processes.
• Knowledge of land use and environmental due diligence is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed title review and analysis for commitments, policies, and endorsements.
• Identify title exceptions and flag issues for attorney review.
• Prepare title review memoranda, objections letters, and track cure items through closing.
• Order and review ALTA/NSPS surveys and zoning reports; coordinate with consultants.
• Coordinate closing with title companies, escrow agents, and third parties.
• Prepare closing checklists and final documents for execution and recording.
• Maintain transaction timelines and calendar deadlines.
