Ares Management LLC seeks a Senior Associate in Real Estate Operations to partner with Global and Regional COOs to drive operational excellence across the Real Estate platform, spanning equity and credit. The role provides high-leverage support for strategic initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, digital transformation, and cross-functional coordination with centralized corporate functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Real Estate with strong academic credentials.
• 6–10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate, accounting, or management consulting.
• Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills, including building and auditing complex models.
• Outstanding PowerPoint and presentation skills with ability to translate complex data into executive materials.
• Comfort with AI tools and applying AI to improve productivity and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global and Regional COOs in executing high-impact strategic initiatives and cross-segment projects.
• Prepare materials for senior leader meetings and business performance reviews.
• Analyze complex Excel models for budgeting, reforecasting, and headcount planning across regions.
• Develop executive-ready presentations that tell a clear narrative with insights and recommendations.
• Support calendar design and materials for Global Partner meetings and offsites.
• Track progress on cross-functional initiatives and resolve roadblocks.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, IR to advance Real Estate priorities.
• Support rollout of digital tools, data analytics, and AI use cases across the platform.
• Refine monthly and bi-annual business review metrics for early intervention.
• Communicate updates to partners and stakeholders with on-brand messaging.
• Handle highly confidential information with discretion.
