Job summary

The Runstad Department of Real Estate at the University of Washington invites applications for a teaching faculty position at the rank of Associate Teaching Professor and Director of Programs, with an anticipated start date of September 2027. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a full-time basis for a nine-month academic appointment beginning September 16, 2027.

The base salary range is $12,000 - $14,000 per month, with a 9-month service period.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in real estate or related field, with completion by Sept 2027.
• Strong teaching or professional practice record in real estate or related discipline.
• Experience in leading or coordinating academic programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess instruction across undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Teach 24 credit hours per academic year and mentor students.
• Serve on departmental/college committees and manage program administration as Director of Programs.

Education

Master’s degree in real estate, urban planning, construction management, geography, economics, public policy, or related disciplines
