Job summary

University of Washington invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Real Estate in the Runstad Department of Real Estate. The nine-month academic appointment begins September 2027 with a base salary range of $10,000 to $12,000 per month, dependent on experience.

The appointee will teach on campus, design courses, and contribute to service on committees. Initial appointment is three years with renewal potential and eligibility for further multi-year terms.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in real estate, urban planning, construction management, geography, economics, public policy, business-related disciplines, or related field, with completion by Sept 2027.
• Evidence of a strong record of outstanding teaching or professional practice in real estate or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess instruction across undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Teach 24 credit hours per academic year.
• Mentor students and engage in service on departmental and college committees.
