Job summary

The Runstad Department of Real Estate in the University of Washington invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor starting September 2027. This is a full-time, nine-month appointment with potential summer salary contingent on program needs.

The initial appointment is three years with renewal eligibility. The successful candidate will design, deliver, and assess instruction across undergraduate and graduate programs, mentor students, and engage in department service.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in real estate or related field with overlap in real estate theory or practice.
• Evidence of a strong record of outstanding teaching or professional practice in real estate or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess instruction across undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Mentor students and engage in service on departmental and college committees.
• Teach 24 credit hours per academic year across a mix of courses.
