The Runstad Department of Real Estate in the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington invites applications for a teaching faculty position at the rank of Associate Teaching Professor and Director of Programs, with an anticipated start date of September 2027.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in real estate, urban planning, construction management, geography, economics, public policy, business related disciplines, or overlap in real estate theory/practice.
• Evidence of outstanding teaching or professional practice in real estate or related discipline.
• Expertise in leading or coordinating academic programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess instruction across undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Teach 24 credit hours per academic year and mentor students.
• Contribute to service on departmental and college committees.
• Provide leadership for planning, implementing, and improving academic programs.
• Coordinate curriculum updates, scheduling, onboarding, and communication with instructors.
