Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC seeks a Senior Counsel, Real Estate to support its real estate and development activities, including acquisitions, zoning, incentives and land use for data center campuses.

The role requires a JD, 5+ years of real estate experience and strong negotiation skills to draft and negotiate complex agreements with municipalities, developers and utilities. In-house or firm experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 5 years practicing law with substantialReal estate and economic development focus.
• Experience drafting and negotiating community benefit and development agreements.
• Experience drafting real estate development documents incl. purchase agreements, leases, easements.
• Knowledge of title work, surveys, zoning and land use matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting and negotiation of community benefit and development agreements with municipalities and authorities.
• Advise on zoning, entitlements, land use, tax incentives and public financing matters.
• Draft and negotiate real estate purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements and related documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel through diligence to closing.
• Handle non-real estate matters and provide business judgment on loans, equity raises and acquisitions.
