Job summary

Head Management Group in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to own the full accounting cycle across a multi-entity real estate portfolio. This individual-contributor role offers autonomy and direct collaboration with company leadership.

You’ll manage daily transactions, monthly reconciliations, rent rolls, and lender reporting, while coordinating with CLA on tax returns and investor K‑1s. Strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle responsibility.
• Experience across multiple entities, leases, bank accounts, and ownership structures.
• Highly organized, hands-on and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting from transaction entry through quarterly close for multiple real estate entities.
• Prepare daily consolidated cash reporting and manage interaccount transfers.
• Complete bank reconciliations across 40+ accounts and intercompany activity.
• Maintain monthly rent rolls and lender reporting; coordinate property information.
• Prepare quarterly owner reporting and distributions.
• Coordinate with CLA on tax returns and investor K-1s.
• Maintain entity ownership databases and streamline reporting processes.
• Process payroll for the office and handle routine admin accounting tasks.
• Communicate with tenants, owners, investors, banks, and service providers.
• Assist with property/maintenance coordination and IT-related support with provider.
