Job summary

Jobot represents an established real estate investment firm seeking a Senior Accountant to own multi-entity accounting, lease and acquisitions, and intercompany activities. The role offers the chance to collaborate with a seasoned finance team and influence financial reporting across entities.

Candidates should have at least five years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (CPA or Master's preferred), and proficiency with Excel and accounting software such as Yardi, MRI,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in multi-entity environments.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, lease/accounting, fixed assets and intercompany accounting.
• Familiarity with Yardi, MRI, or AppFolio is a definite plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; solid accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-entity accounting operations for the organization.
• Manage lease and acquisitions accounting and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Oversee intercompany accounting including reconciliations and eliminations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely reporting.
• Assist with audits and tax preparation activities.
• Refine accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay updated on industry changes affecting accounting practices.
• Utilize Yardi, MRI, or AppFolio to streamline processes.
