Job summary

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at the Byron Nuclear Station in Byron, IL. The role trains for the Operations Shift Supervisor duties and NRC licensure to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room.

Training includes classroom and on‑the‑job components, with progression through phases to obtain the SRO license and related supervisory responsibilities. Relocation may be offered as per company policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5+ years at a noncomparable facility.
• Engineering degree (4-year) or PE license with 1.5+ years in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on‑the‑job training and evaluation.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license to perform Operations Shift Supervisor duties.
• Assist with emergency response, outage support, and coverage as directed by management.
