Job summary

National Asset Mgmt Incorporated seeks a Senior Retro-Commissioning (RCx) / Energy Auditor - Building Energy Engineer. This is a part-time, 1099 Independent Contractor role with remote work and travel to Colorado. Expect approximately 10+ hours per week and two-day site visits in Colorado about twice a year.

The role centers on on-site audits, technical energy audit reports, and guiding clients through implementation, coordinating with owners and contractors, and providing engineering support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience performing commercial energy audits, commissioning, or retro-commissioning.
• Extensive experience with large commercial buildings (100,000+ SF).
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, BAS, DDC, and ECMs with experience in calculations and energy savings analyses.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site energy audits and RCx site investigations for commercial buildings.
• Develop engineering reports, energy savings analyses, and payback estimates.
• Assist clients through implementation and coordinate with stakeholders.
