Job summary

Resource Innovations seeks a Senior Energy Engineer to lead RCx projects for commercial and industrial clients, focusing on retro-commissioning, optimization, energy audits, and building controls. You will analyze BAS data, develop measures, quantify savings, and support implementation with customers and internal teams.

The role involves field work with travel to Evansville, IN area and occasional travel to other locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Energy, or Architectural Engineering and 7+ years in energy efficiency or RCx.
• Strong experience leading RCx projects for commercial/industrial facilities.
• Experience with BAS, HVAC, and building energy analysis.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead RCx and optimization projects for commercial/industrial clients.
• Analyze BAS trends, control sequences, and energy data to identify ECMs.
• Develop RCx measures with savings calculations and cost estimates.
• Prepare RCx studies and technical reports documenting findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate with facility staff, contractors, and program teams to implement measures.
• Perform or support M&V activities to verify savings.
• Manage multiple RCx projects through full lifecycle, scheduling, and deliverables.
