Job summary

CSEngineering seeks a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) to provide telecom infrastructure and construction-management support for a VA Milwaukee EHRM upgrade. The role blends technical telecom expertise with field supervision, inspections, QA, and coordination with government and contractors.

Responsibilities include TR oversight, fiber/copper backbone, and integration with overall project design and turnover. Offshore and onsite work required.

Qualifications

• Active BICSI RCDD certification required.
• Experience with TRs, fiber/backbone infrastructure, copper cabling.
• Ability to interpret drawings, RFIs, submittals, and as-built docs.
• Strong communication with government, contractors, and IT teams.
• Experience with DoD/federal telecom requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Telecommunications Rooms construction, layouts, and cable management.
• Inspect TR readiness for testing, commissioning, and acceptance.
• Provide fiber/copper infrastructure oversight from ISP/OSP to end-points.
• Review and validate drawings, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, IT, architectural, and construction teams.
• Perform field inspections, document results, and track deficiencies.
