Job summary

Black & Veatch Special Projects Corp. seeks a Federal Telecommunications Engineering Specialist to lead ICT designs for U.S. Government projects. You will coordinate with BIM/CAD teams, produce design drawings and specifications, and provide design analysis across multiple locations.

Role requires strong knowledge of NEC/IEEE/EIA/TIA standards, 5+ years in telecom design, and RCDD certification. Hybrid work options are available after onboarding, supporting diverse mission needs.

Qualifications

RCDD certification is required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering/related field.
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

Lead communication designs and coordinate with other disciplines.
Create conceptual and detailed systems designs, including drawings, specs and analysis deliverables.
Coordinate with BIM/CAD team for drawing production.
Perform quality control duties and independent technical reviews.
Manage assigned budgets, scopes and schedules.
Mentor staff and provide guidance to less experienced members.
May perform fieldwork and write assessment reports.
May assist with design guides and templates.
May support business development or pursuit activities.
