Job summary

Conceras is actively seeking a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) for project-based consulting. The role supports U.S.

Government telecommunications infrastructure with potential overseas assignments, emphasizing design, field surveys, and documentation. The consultant will travel CONUS and internationally as needed, working in secure environments and coordinating with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active RCDD certification is required.
• Active Top Secret clearance is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of telecom cabling design, testing, and installation in the last 7 years.
• Experience with technical proposal writing, BOMs, and scope of work development.
• Ability to translate survey findings into design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop cabling system designs for copper, coax, and fiber.
• Produce CAD drawings, diagrams, and floor plans.
• Prepare test plans, reports, and installation docs.
• Develop scopes of work, BOMs, and proposals.
• Review documents to support design and installation planning.
• Conduct on-site surveys to support design efforts.
• Perform cable plant testing, UPS and standby systems.
• Serve as site lead or SME as assigned.
• Translate site conditions into actionable designs.
