Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures with independence and judgment. The role includes patient positioning, image quality analysis, limited supervision, and adherence to safety standards.

The position requires an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT (R) certification, and 2 years’ experience. A sign-on bonus of $15,000 is available with a 3-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; ARRT (R) Radiography certification; 2 years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations and manages department resources; maintains QA program per regulatory bodies.
• Positions patients and performs imaging procedures independently; analyzes image quality and resolves issues.
• Completes required documentation for procedures including regulatory and billing.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice and regulations.
• Implements radiation protection and safety standards; ensures department compliance.
• Coverage of chief tech duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
