Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This role requires independent judgment and initiative, ensuring quality results and patient safety.

The position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a 3-year commitment and requires ARRT (R) Radiography certification within 6 months of hire, CPR certification, and required background clearances.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
• ARRT Radiography certification required within 6 months of hire (Incumbents prior to April 2026 have 12 months).
• CPR – American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Aufgaben

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results and addresses image quality issues.
• Reviews patient history and physician's orders; educates patient about procedures and equipment.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope; monitors patient status.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; selects exposure factors and imaging parameters; ensures safety and quality control; troubleshoots equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
