Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging procedures with independent judgment. The role includes patient positioning, image quality analysis, result reporting, patient education, and safety compliance within HIPAA guidelines.

Mandatory ARRT radiography certification within 6 months and CPR certification are required. Background checks and state/federal clearances are part of the onboarding process, with a sign-on bonus eligible for a 3-year

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) Radiography certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPR – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures.
• Analyzes results and addresses image quality issues.
• Reports scan results and enters data.
• Reviews history and explains procedures to patients.
• Prepares and administers contrast media when ordered.
• Prepares equipment, selects exposure factors, and ensures safety compliance.
