Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures with independent judgment and initiative. You will position patients, review orders, educate patients, and ensure safety standards are followed.

Responsibilities include administering contrast when needed, maintaining equipment, and handling quality control. ARRT certification within 6 months and CPR are required; prior radiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in radiology or related field.
• ARRT radiography certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPR certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and perform imaging; analyze results and adjust as needed.
• Review history and orders; educate patient on procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as within scope; monitor patient.
• Prepare equipment, set exposure factors, and perform quality checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
