Job summary

RTX seeks a talented Systems Engineer to join the Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars team in Woburn, MA, supporting X-Band radar technology and radar data analysis. The role requires leading integration and testing efforts, coordinating with internal and external customers, and ensuring compliance with DoD release policies.

Active security clearance is required on day one, with 10% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, or other programming languages.
• Experience with systems engineering, radar data analysis, integration, verification, validation and/or system testing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in integration and test planning/execution, executing verification/validation events, and perform scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve technical observations.
• Complete system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
• Execute integration plans and testing activities according to defined tasks Milestones and schedules.
• Integrate and test radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility for supporting integration, verification, test, and data analysis activities.
• Collaborate with cross-program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, ensure test-setup readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness).
• Confirm test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware and ensure compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies.
• Will ingness for 10% local and non-local travel including experience with domestic and foreign military sales products.
• Experience leading Integration/Testing efforts, presenting results to internal/external stakeholders
