Job summary

RTX is seeking a talented Systems Engineer II to join the Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars department in Woburn, MA. You will support radar data analysis, systems integration, and testing across hardware and software efforts, collaborating with internal and external customers to meet mission needs.

The role requires a STEM degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C/C++, and familiarity with RF hardware and software testing.

Qualifications

• Typically requires degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming.
• Experience with test equipment, radio frequency (RF), electronic hardware, and/or integrated regression testing radar systems.

Responsibilities

• Support integration and test planning/execution, executing verification/validation events, execute regression testing, and perform scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve technical observations.
• Support system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
• Execute integration plans and testing activities according to defined tasking milestones and schedules.
• Integrate and test radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility for supporting integration, verification, test, and data analysis activities.
• Collaborate with cross-program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, ensure test-setup readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness).
• Confirm test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware and ensure compliance with Department of Defense technology release and export licensing policies.
• Willingness for 10% local and non-local travel including experience with domestic and foreign military sales products.
