Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II in Woburn, MA to support radar system integration, testing, and data analysis within the Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars team. The role focuses on planning, executing verification events, and collaborating with software and hardware teams to meet requirements.

Qualified candidates typically hold a STEM degree with at least 2 years of related experience and strong MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and Linux skills. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming language.
• Experience with test equipment, radio frequency (RF), electronic hardware, and/or integrated regression testing radar systems.

Responsibilities

• Support integration and test planning/execution, executing verification/validation events, execute regression testing, and perform scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve technical observations.
• Support system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
• Execute integration plans and testing activities according to defined tasking milestones and schedules.
• Integrate and test radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility for supporting integration, verification, test, and data analysis activities.
• Collaborate with cross-program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, ensure test-setup readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness).
• Confirm test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware and ensure compliance with Department of Defense technology release and export licensing policies.
• Willingness for 10% local and non-local travel including experience with domestic and foreign military sales products.
