Job summary

Echodyne in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer to join our fast-growing team. You will own complex board designs for radar products and collaborate with AMS, RF, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering to translate schematics into high-performance, manufacturable PCBAs.

The role emphasizes signal integrity, power integrity, EMI, thermal management, and DFM/DFT. You will work with suppliers and cross-functional teams to optimize design for cost, quality and manufacturability,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field with 10+ years of PCB design experience.
• Eligibility to handle export-controlled data (ITAR/EAR).
• Experience with Altium Designer and RF/microwave PCB design.

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive PCB designs from schematic review to production release.
• Translate schematics into multilayer PCBAs for RF and mixed-signal applications; collaborate with vendors.
• Apply signal integrity, power integrity, EMI, thermal, and DFM/DFT best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and vendors to optimize cost and manufacturability.
• Support NPI, revisions, sustaining changes with cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain component symbols, footprints, and 3D models in the library.
• Provide guidance to junior PCB designers and improve design methods.
