Job summary

Echodyne in Kirkland, WA seeks a Senior PCB Design Engineer to own complex multilayer board designs for radar products. You will drive from schematic reviews through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure high reliability and manufacturability.

The role emphasizes RF/mixed-signal PCB design, signal integrity, and DFM/DFT best practices, with opportunities to guide junior engineers and influence NPI and product revisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or related field with 10+ years of PCB design experience or equivalent
• Export control eligibility (ITAR/EAR) will be checked
• Experience with RF/high-speed PCB design is preferred
• Proficient in interpreting complex schematics and PCB layouts

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive PCB designs from schematic review to production release.
• Translate schematics into multilayer PCBAs for analog, RF, and mixed-signal needs, coordinating with fabrication teams.
• Apply signal integrity, power integrity, EMC, thermal, DFM/DFT best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and vendors to optimize for cost and manufacturability.
• Support NPI, revisions, and sustaining changes; resolve fabrication, assembly, and yield issues.
• Create, review and maintain component symbols, footprints and 3D models in the library.
• Provide guidance to junior designers and improve PCB design methods and flows.
• Coordinate with RF and analog/mixed-signal teams to implement best practices in schematic/layout
