Job summary

Echodyne in Kirkland, WA, is seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer to own complex multilayer PCB designs for radar products. You will collaborate with AMS, RF, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams to translate requirements into high-performance assemblies.

The role emphasizes DFM/DFT, signal integrity, EMI, and manufacturability, with responsibilities across NPI, production changes, and vendor interactions. A 10+ year background and Bachelor's degree are required, with export-control eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, a related technical field, or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant PCB design experience.
• Eligibility to handle export-controlled technical data, including ITAR and EAR-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and drive assigned PCB designs from schematic review through production release.
• Translate schematics and electrical requirements into complex multilayer PCBA designs for RF and mixed-signal applications.
• Apply signal integrity, power integrity, EMI, thermal, and DFM/DFT best practices.
• Collaborate with vendors to optimize cost, quality, and manufacturability.
• Support NPI, product revisions, and sustaining changes with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain component symbols, footprints, and 3D models in the library.
• Provide guidance to junior PCB designers and improve design workflows.
• Work with RF and AMS teams to align requirements with vendor capabilities.
