Job summary

Echodyne is seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer to own complex multilayer PCBAs for radar products. You will work with Analog/Mixed-Signal, RF, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams, translating requirements into high-performance, manufacturable designs.

The role emphasizes DFx, high-speed and RF layouts, and close collaboration with external suppliers. Strong Altium proficiency and 10+ years of PCB experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant PCB design experience.
• Experience with radar, aerospace, defense, RF, or high-reliability electronics.
• Experience with HDI, high layer count, rigid-flex, or flex technologies.
• Experience with Arena PLM or similar PLM system.
• IPC CID, CID+ or related PCB design certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive PCB designs from schematic to production release.
• Translate schematics and requirements into multilayer PCBAs for RF/mixed-signal applications.
• Collaborate with engineering and fabricators on outlines, stackups, materials, routing, and impedance.
• Apply SI/PI, EMI, thermal, reliability, DFM/DFT best practices.
• Support NPI, revisions, and sustaining changes with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain component symbols, footprints, and 3D models in the library.
• Provide guidance to junior PCB designers and improve design methods.
