Job summary

Echodyne is seeking a Principal PCB Design Engineer to lead physical design for RF, high-speed digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics in rapid radar prototypes. You will join a cross-disciplinary team delivering tiled-aperture electronics, modular RF hardware, and fast calibration infrastructure, with leadership in design reviews and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• Multilayer RF/high-speed PCB design experience.
• Experience with impedance stackups and controlled impedance.
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly.
• Experience with PCB fabrication processes and supplier engagement.
• Prototype bring-up and test methods across RF, analog and digital domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB physical design for advanced technology prototypes and future radar platforms.
• Translate RF, antenna, analog, high-speed digital, power, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements into practical stackups and routing solutions.
• Create prototype boards, coupons, and test vehicles for new materials and methods.
• Collaborate with RF, electrical, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, suppliers and stakeholders to meet constraints.
• Establish DFM/ DFA/ DFT guidelines and reusable design practices for reliability.
