Job summary

Echodyne Corp in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer to own complex multilayer PCBA for radar products. You will collaborate with AMS, RF, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to translate requirements into high-performance, manufacturable designs and support NPI and sustaining changes.

The role demands strong hands-on PCB design experience, proficiency in Altium Designer, and knowledge of RF/high-speed layout, IPC standards, and DFM principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of PCB design experience.
• Experience with RF/millimeter-wave/high-speed designs.
• Export control eligibility for ITAR/EAR.

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive PCB designs from schematic review through production release.
• Translate schematics and mechanical constraints into complex multilayer PCBA for RF and mixed-signal.
• Apply signal integrity, power integrity, EMI, thermal, and DFM/ DFA/ DFT best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to optimize for cost, quality, and manufacturability.
• Support NPI and sustaining changes, resolving fabrication and yield issues.
• Maintain component symbols, footprints, 3D models in the library.
• Provide guidance to junior PCB designers and improve design processes.
• Work with RF and AMS teams to align requirements with vendor capabilities.
