General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a R&D Engineer SME for Solid Rocket Motor propulsion technologies. This role leads advanced studies, design development, testing, and technology transitions to production.

You will serve as the primary technical interface for the IPT and key stakeholders, with flexibility for remote or Huntsville-area work. The position emphasizes leadership in SRM, collaboration with manufacturing and design, and the creation of robust technical

Qualificações

• Associate's Degree and 12-15 years' experience.
• Engineering degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead propulsion RM/ SRM R&D efforts and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, design teams, and IPT for manufacturability and tech transfer.
• Develop technical documentation and presentations for internal/external customers.
• Interface with IPT and customers to guide SRM technology from development to production.
