Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in Huntsville, AL (remote option available) seeks a Propulsion R&D Engineer SME to lead advanced SRM propulsion research. You will drive feasibility studies, design, development, and testing of new propulsion concepts, guiding technology from development to production and serving as the IPT’s technical interface with customers.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 12-15 years' experience
• Engineering degree required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D for SRM propulsion technologies.
• Perform feasibility studies, applied research, design, development and testing.
• Provide technical leadership across SRM programs.
• Interface with IPT and customers.
• Produce technical documentation for projects.
