Job summary

Bausch + Lomb seeks a Senior Project Manager to join the R&D Global Portfolio and Project Management (GPPM) team. You will provide business and technical leadership for global product development within a designated business vertical such as Vision Care, Surgical, or Pharmaceuticals/Consumer.

You will translate customer needs into product requirements, develop project valuations, plan for global registration and launches, and define scope, budget, resources, timelines, risks, and communications.

Qualifications

BS/BA in Science or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of Medical Device/Pharma industry experience and 3-5 years in R&D Project Management.
Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; MS Project preferred.
PMP certification a plus; Agile methodologies for software projects.
Process improvement; Systems thinking; Leadership and influence across levels.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute global product development strategies, including scope and timelines.
Develop target product profiles, value drivers, financial modeling and risk analysis.
Plan regulatory strategy and launch activities; manage IP strategy and execution.
Governance: prepare business gate reviews and ensure SOP/GMP compliance.
Maintain data in GPPM systems and deliver timely reports for decision making.
Mentor GPPM staff and support strategic initiatives across the R&D organization.
