Dow Industrial Solutions seeks a Senior R&D Leader based in Collegeville, PA, to head a multidisciplinary team supporting cleaning platforms and adjacent markets. You will drive strategy, portfolio execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver safe, innovative products and technology platforms.

The role emphasizes leadership, portfolio management, and accountability for delivering scientific excellence and business growth within a global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Ability to lead teams, manage complex technical work, and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-site R&D team, setting priorities and allocating resources.
• Ensure safe, compliant lab operations and uphold EH&S policies.
• Develop and manage the Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and technology platforms.
• Translate strategy into research priorities, charters and execution plans.
• Drive IP strategy and patent filings.
• Collaborate with global Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D and other functions.
• Engage with external partners to support growth opportunities.
