Job summary

Dow Industrial Solutions in Collegeville, PA, seeks a Senior R&D Leader to guide a 13-person multidisciplinary team supporting the Cleaning Growth Platform and other market segments. The role combines people leadership with safe lab operations and portfolio management.

You will drive stage-gate processes, partner with Product R&D, TS&D, and Commercial teams, and engage external partners to deliver new products and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary R&D team across Collegeville and Midland to develop new products and platforms.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, manage performance, and foster engagement.
• Ensure safe, compliant laboratory operations and champion EH&S policies.
• Develop and manage the Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and technology platforms.
• Partner with Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D, EI&G R&D, Commercial, Marketing, and others to advance research and commercialization.
• Engage customers, universities and external partners to support growth opportunities.
