Job summary

Dow Industrial Solutions seeks a Senior R&D Leader in Collegeville, PA to guide a multidisciplinary team supporting the Cleaning Growth Platform and related DIS segments. The role blends people leadership, safe lab operations, and portfolio management to deliver new products and sustainable growth.

You will partner across functions and with external partners to advance research and commercialization, manage budgets, and drive innovation in a global context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline is required.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site R&D team; set priorities and allocate resources.
• Ensure safe and compliant laboratory operations and champion EH&S policies.
• Develop, prioritize, and manage the Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and technology platforms.
• Lead cross-functional teams and translate strategy into research priorities and plans.
• Oversee project delivery against milestones with rigorous scientific methods and clear documentation.
• Champion patent filings and IP strategies.
• Partner globally with Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D, and other functions to advance research and commercialization.
• Engage external partners to support growth opportunities and portfolio performance.
