Job summary

Dow Industrial Solutions seeks a Senior R&D Leader based in Collegeville, PA to direct a multidisciplinary team of 13 FTEs supporting product development for the Cleaning Growth Platform and related markets. The role combines people leadership, safe operations, and portfolio management to deliver new products and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical science or related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• Commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site R&D team across Collegeville and Midland.
• Attract and retain talent; conduct development discussions and align assignments with strategy.
• Ensure safe, compliant laboratory operations and EH&S policy adherence.
• Develop and manage Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and platforms; govern stage-gate processes.
• Lead cross-functional Front End Team; translate strategy into research priorities and execution plans.
• Oversee milestones, ensure rigorous methods, and remove roadblocks to deliver results.
• Champion IP strategies including patent filings; collaborate with Product R&D and Marketing.
• Engage with external partners to support growth opportunities and portfolio performance.
• Manage budgets, capital plans, and investments to grow capabilities.
