Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Senior Quotations Specialist to manage the full quotations process, from request receipt through to submitting the quote to the customer. You will collaborate with Graybar sales representatives, customer service teams, customers, and manufacturers to obtain cost data and craft profitable quotes.

The role emphasizes cost estimation, supplier communication, and timely delivery of accurate quotes to drive sales and customer satisfaction across our product lines.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple quotes.
• Experience with quotations and cost estimation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material.
• Contact factories and reps to obtain cost information.
• Work with sales reps and customer service reps.
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers for on-time quotes.
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of materials to price variations for complete comparisons.
