Job summary

You will collaborate with Graybar sales reps, customer service teams, customers, and manufacturer reps to collect necessary details and price materials accurately for profitable sales.

The role emphasizes learning product lines and pricing mechanics, using our systems to generate quotes that meet customer needs while ensuring competitiveness and profitability.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to meet deadlines is required.
• 6+ years experience preferred is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material.
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information.
• Work with sales representatives and customer service representatives to gather details.
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations.
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to price variations for complete comparisons.
