Job summary

Amcor is hiring a Quality Manager to lead the plant's quality systems, food safety programs, and CAPA processes. You will oversee lab operations, calibrations, and data analysis while coordinating with Operations, Technical, and R&D to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a strong background in Lean and Six Sigma, with experience managing a 24/7 manufacturing facility and a Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant working experience and training in Quality in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of implementing and maintaining quality systems and food safety standards.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits and customer inquiries as Management Representative.
• Direct the quality team and lab operations for a 24/7 facility.
• Maintain and improve plant quality systems and regulatory compliance (ISO, GMP, FDA, etc.).
• Oversee CAPA, nonconformities, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Operations, Technical, and R&D on new products and processes.
• Develop in-process inspection plans and data analysis to meet customer specs.
