Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the plant's Quality Management System, ensuring products meet customer expectations and ARP quality requirements. You will supervise inspections, lab testing, audits, and process control while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

You will coordinate with production, support corporate QA, and manage customer-facing quality issues, including investigations of nonconformances and corrective actions. Travel about 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of quality management experience, preferably in plastic packaging.
• Professional accreditation in Quality Engineering and Systems required.
• Six Sigma or related continuous improvement education/certification.
• Advanced SPC, Process Capability, and Designed Experiment knowledge.
• Understanding of FSMA, HACCP, GMP standards.
• Experience designing and implementing advanced QMS.
• Experience with plastics/packaging in high-speed environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office, statistics, and process control tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Quality Management System for the plant.
• Provide leadership for QA and compliance with federal regulations and customer requirements.
• Oversee inspections, lab testing, audits, and process control.
• Drive continuous improvement and corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with production and other plants to maximize reliability and minimize costs.
• Manage customer interfaces on quality and product performance matters.
• Lead internal quality audits and supervise QA team.
