Job summary

The role requires 7-10 years in quality management within packaging, along with Six Sigma or equivalent accreditation, and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field.
• 7-10 years quality management experience, preferably in plastic packaging.
• Professional Accreditation in Quality Engineering and Systems required.
• Six Sigma or related continuous improvement education.
• Advanced knowledge of SPC methodologies and Process Capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Amcor Quality Management System with local management and staff.
• Design and direct the Plant's Quality Assurance program and document control.
• Serve as primary customer contact on quality matters and product performance.
• Drive CAPA actions with root-cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Coordinate with production to maximize reliability and minimize costs.
• Inspect incoming materials and finished goods; ensure quality through testing.
• Establish SPC programs and interpret performance data for management.
• Manage team development, safety and ethical compliance.
