Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Quality Manager to lead our manufacturing quality program, ensuring compliance with ISO, GMP, FDA and food safety standards. You will drive corrective actions, manage the quality system, and collaborate with Operations, Technical and R&D on new products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant working experience in quality in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge and hands‑on experience in implementing and maintaining quality system and food safety system standards.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and familiarity with HACCP/FSSC 22000/SQF/BRC/IMS, ISO 13485/9001.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Medical, Pharmaceutical and Food packaging products.

Responsibilities

• Puts safety first in all responsibilities including awareness and adherence to EH&S policies.
• Be an active member of the plant leadership team.
• Serve as the “Management Representative” for audits and other related customer and internal quality inquiries.
• Provide leadership to the quality team and support 24/7 manufacturing needs.
• Manage Plant Quality System and maintain registrations to chosen quality standards.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement long‑term corrective actions.
• Oversee testing of raw materials, in‑process and finished products to meet specifications.
