Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Quality/Process Improvement leader for a distribution center in Mount Pleasant, IA. The role focuses on applying Six Sigma, 5S, and time and motion studies to eliminate losses and improve processes.

You will drive KPI analysis, standard work, and cross-functional collaboration with managers and teams. Responsibilities include leading WPS programs, developing best practices, and mentoring associates to build quality capability across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent with Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in Quality or Process Improvement or 5 years in Engineering or Process Improvement with Lean Six Sigma.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives using 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies.
• Develop and deploy WPS programs and contribute to One Best Way playbooks.
• Drive KPI improvements, loss elimination, and standard work to reduce process variation.
• Coordinate activities with area managers, stakeholders, and teams to meet quality goals.
• Mentor associates and support deployment of quality excellence initiatives.
