Job summary

Walmart in Oklahoma City is seeking a Quality/Process Improvement leader within a Distribution Center. You will apply 5S, root-cause analysis, and Six Sigma methods to reduce losses, compile deviations, and support WPS program deployment across the area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 3 years’ experience in Quality or Process Improvement OR 5 years’ experience in Engineering or Process Improvement with Lean Six Sigma experience.
• Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long term savings.
• Microsoft Office Suite, analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads Process Improvement tools and methods (5S, root cause analysis, six sigma, time and motion) to reduce losses in the Distribution Center.
• Compiles deviations to One Best Way playbooks and input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams.
• Manages execution of top Quality losses and builds capability in area managers and associates.
• Delivers KPI improvements through loss elimination and standard work to reduce process variation.
